ロサンゼルス旅行記１月１６日（月）その７
現代美術館に着きました。その場に不釣合な小さな小屋のチケット売り場がありました。そこが果たして現代美術館のチケット売り場なのか分からなかったので、まず、ショップに寄ることにしました。
日本でも買えそうなものばかりでした。奈良美智のグッツとかありました。
そして、驚いたことに無印良品のペンやノートなどがアートショップに置かれていました。アメリカでは無印良品もアートなのか？
ショップを一通り見て、本来の目的である現代美術館に行かねばと思いチケットを買うことにしました。入り口に向かう途中にチケットはありますか？といった注意書きがあったので、やっぱり小さな小屋がチケット売り場だと思い、並びました。チケット購入後、販売の女性にシールを剥がして服に貼り付けてと言われました。
チケット購入したという証明のようですね。びっくり。
胸にMOCAのシールを貼り、美術館に入りました。漫画の特集をやっていて、英語わからないし、日本の漫画の絵が好きな私にはいまいち興味なかったので、そこは素通りしました。
館内にはリーフリードランナーなど写真家の展示もあったので、メモをしました。
そして、ペンをしまおうと思ったら、黒人警備員にそのペンは何だ？というような質問をされ、私のペンです。と答えたら、特に何も問い詰めてこなかったです。なんか、私って行動が不審だったかしら。勝手も言葉も分からないので、挙動不審だったんでしょうね。
次は、リトル東京にある別館に向かうことにしました。
